Gut Model – Windmills
Brussels quartet Gut Model drop “Windmills”, a new single ahead of their April 2026 album “Hex on us!”. The band formed in 2020 when four musicians from Mons relocated to Brussels during the pandemic, channelling that anxious energy into their music. After debuting at Café Central in late 2021, they’ve built momentum across Belgium’s alternative circuit.
Their 2024 album “Spulctures” on EXAG’ Records showed the band leaning into maximalist art-rock, pulling from progressive rock, noise and experimental sounds. “Windmills” continues that approach, with the band working through ecological, technological and sociopolitical tensions that define the upcoming record.
